Aston Martin Rapide new 2007 concept car

Aston Martin Car Concept The Rapide concept car is a new Aston Martin 2007 car model that features powered by the V12 engine from the DB9 but with more horsepower, more doors and well, more Aston.
This is a four-door sports coupe equiped "swan wing" doors that open upwards at a 12 degree angle, well away from the gutter to provide greater access.

The extruded aluminium construction of the VH architecture can be modified in both length and width, providing a myriad of packaging options, and the chemically-bonded structure (using glues derived from aircraft manufacture) is mated with bodywork that mixes aluminium and composite materials.

The aim of the new Rapide car concept, according to design director Marek Reichman, was to make the most beautiful four-door car in the world. "In silhouette, three-quarters views and from both the front and rear the Rapide is instantly recognisable as an Aston Martin," Reichman says. "We put character and feeling into the surface. Our designers and modellers work with a sculptural language here at Aston Martin — the play of the light in the surface is important to us."

Miura is a new Lamborghini 2007 Concept Car that brings back the legendary Miura name on the eve of the car's 40th Anniversary.

"Ferruccio Lamborghini once said it means very little to produce the best racing cars in the world, people only remember the drivers, but if you can produce the best road cars in the world, no one will ever forget them," Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann reminisced about Lamborghini's famous founder when the new lamborghini concept car was presented.

Camaro Concept Car

Camaro Concept Car - New Camaro Cars
Here are some news about the new Camaro Concept Car.

"General Motors showed off a Chevrolet Camaro prototype inspired by the 1969 version of the legendary muscle car to try to rev up demand for its return.

Chevrolet had been widely expected to unveil the Camaro concept car at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a day after DaimlerChrysler's U.S. division rolled out a version of the rival Dodge Challenger.

Many expect Chrysler and Chevrolet to put the Challenger and the Camaro concept car into production, given Ford Motor Co.'s success with its redesigned version of the original 1960s muscle car, the Mustang.

Executives at GM, the world's largest automaker, cited fans' intense interest surrounding the seven-month development effort behind the 400-horsepower concept car as an indication of potential demand from buyers.

But they said the company, which has been losing money and market share to rivals, had not yet decided whether to begin making the new Chevy Camaro concept car. That production decision would hinge in part on the excitement generated by the new design, Bob Lutz, vice chairman of products, told reporters." (reuters report about the new camaro concept car - chevy concept car presentation)

The Camaro concept car draws inspiration from the early Camaros, but is updated with a modern 400-horsepower, V-8 engine and sleek look that GM hopes will appeal to young drivers and Camaro enthusiasts alike.

"This is a vehicle that will run with the best sports cars," said GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz after he drove the Camaro prototype on stage.

New Concept Car - Nissan Urge

Concept Car: Nissan Urge
There is a new concept car from Nissan called Urge.

The Nissan Urge Concept car - should it become a production vehicle - comes equipped with a built-in Xbox 360. The steering wheel is shaped like gaming controller. In fact it is the controller when the game is on - with the game displayed on the dashboard.

“The concept behind the Nissan prototype car is to come up with an entry-level, sporty car that the younger buyers are going to get excited about because they’ve grown up in an era where video games are the norm,” said Richard Plavetich, a technical design manager with Nissan. “That’s been their driving experience to date.

This 2007 concept car has a separate dock that allows your MP3 player to be mounted, playing music through your car’s sound system. Song lists, too, are displayed on the dash. The phone and MP3 players are operated through buttons on the steering wheel of the prototype car.
